A Message From Our Doctors

As we learn more about the Coronavirus, and continue to monitor the flu and other colds this season, we ask our patients to exercise caution. We are taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

If you, your child, or any other person who must attend your appointment with you, show flu-like and/or cold-like symptoms, please reschedule your appointment with our office.

Rest assured that we will make every effort to give all patients who reschedule their appointments an appointment as soon as they are well, adding appointment slots or extending hours as necessary. If you call our office, you may notice longer phone wait times and recommendations to be treated over the phone rather than in person.

Symptoms To Look For

COVID-19 symptoms are similar to the cold or flu, and may take up to 14 days to appear after exposure to the virus. Be vigilant as severe cases may lead to pneumonia, kidney failure, or death. Mild symptoms include:

  • Fever
  • Headache
  • Runny Nose & Sneezing
  • Cough & Sore Throat
  • Difficulty Breathing
  • Muscle Pain & Weakness
  • Chills & Fatigue
  • Impaired Liver & Kidney Function

Prevention

The World Health Organization advises the following prevention methods:

  • Wash your hands frequently
  • Practice good respiratory hygiene
  • Maintain social distancing
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
  • Seek medical care early
