Protect Your Eyes During the Solar Eclipse

August 21 is just around the corner, and many Americans are preparing for watching the total solar eclipse this year. Before you start gazing up at the sky, however, be sure to keep your eye health in mind. Staring at the sun for even a short time without wearing the right eye protection can damage your retina permanently.
